Preparation & Cooking
Thaw in original packaging in refrigerator for 2 - 3 days. Do not thaw at room temperature. Do not refreeze. 1.Preheat convection oven to 325 degrees F Conventional oven 350 F 2.Do not remove cooking bag. 3.Place frozen or thawed breast in a 2 inch deep pan. 4.Follow temperature and times listed below. Bag will inflate during cooking. The bag will not burst. Do not puncture the bag until checking the temperature. 5.Cook until browned and internal temperature has reached a minimum of 165 degrees F. Test with thermometer. 6.Remove from oven. Let stand for 20-30 minutes for easier slicing. Remove cooking bag and serve. Convection Oven: Thawed at 325°F for 12-16 minutes per lb. Frozen at 325°F for 19-23 minutes per lb. Conventional Oven: Thawed at 350°F for 16-20 minutes per lb. Frozen at 350°F for 28-32 minutes per lb. Cooking from frozen: Place the frozen roast in a preheated oven at 200 degrees F for 60 minutes. After 60 minutes, increase the oven temperature to 350 degrees F and follow the cookking time from frozen time instructions.
